Launch the Epson Ink Pad Reset Utility and select the function for 'Ink monitor.' Set the levels to '0' by typing '0' in those fields or press the 'Reset' button next to each color cartridge. Click the 'Update' or 'Save' button and exit the utility. WIC allows you to access the printers EEPROM and reset the waste ink pad counter. With the counter set back to zero the printer will believe it has a brand new waste ink pad, and will begin to function again. To use WIC software a reset key is required.
